The mouth tape has virtually eliminated my dry mouth problem at night allowing me to sleep better. My follow-up order has been delayed and I am having to go back to my nightly dry mouth problem.
I read a few years back about mouth taping for sleep in James Nestor’s book Breath. I tried it twice with Scotch tape and it was obviously a bust. Like most humans, our switching to soft, cooked food changed our faces and jaws such that people, like me, open-mouth breath while sleeping, especially on their backs. It interrupts sleep and can interrupt breathing. I got Just Slumber tape to try it for real as my quality of sleep was horrible. I track my sleep through my Fitbit. Since using mouth tape for I think three months, I sleep better as my mouth is closed, my tongue is on the roof of my mouth where it should be, and I correctly breathe through my nose. I get more deep sleep than I did before as well as more light sleep. I wake up more refreshed and no longer have to take the different sleep meds and supplements that I had tried to sleep better. I also no longer use a mouth guard at night because I cannot grind my teeth. I do not have sleep apnea as far as I have found out, so for me this works. To others considering tape, here are my thoughts: if you have sleep apnea or heart issues, check with your doctor first, if not, try the tape if you snore and sleep with your mouth open. If using for the first time: keep lips gently together, not squeezed, tongue nestled on the upper palette, tongue tip behind top front teeth, make sure teeth together lightly, jaw not clenched, then apply the tape firmly, but not super stretched. If you don’t get it quite right, gently peel it off and reapply. The adhesive holds up perfectly.
Easy to use and works well. Peels off easily with no residue left on face or mouth. Could be a little larger but covers mouth well.

I have been using somnifix mouth tape for several years. I had no particular issues - except for some inadequate adhesive now and then and subsequent dry mouth. After reading a review, I decided to try JustSlumber. It has been several weeks now and I am pleasantly surprised. My sleep seems to be deeper and I feel more rested in the morning. I will stay with JustSlumber.
No problems, BUT you must follow recommended application, especially men with facial hair: Wash around your mouth, chin, and upper lip with warm soapy water. Dry thoroughly. It also helps to heat the tape in your hands before applying and gently massage the strip for several seconds after application. Nothing like a good fit for a restful night!👍
I tried every chin strap and it did not help. The mouth tape is very comfortable and does the job. The first couple nights I had more of a psychological issue. No different than getting used to the cpap machine. Thanks Justslumber!

I have used a CPAP machine for many years and have had many "chin straps" which are supposed to keep the mouth shut. But they did not work well and I was directed to try the Just Slumber mouth strips. I immediately had an amazing night's and sleep and that has continued for the week I have had them. My sleep tracker has shown a sharp increase in deep sleep and REM sleep which confirms how well these work.

Good size for the mouth area. Not overly big. Very very sticky which is both good and bad. Peeling the backing off can cause the tape to curl inwards and not unravel correctly. I like it.

This is officially part of my evening routine! I’ve been wanting to try mouth tape for a while now and have seen numerous ads for tape targeting men, big pink lips for women, but none of that resonated with me. I wanted something simple and effective and JustSlumber didn’t disappoint. Removing the back before applying was a little tricky at first but I’ve learned the trick - pull the tape apart so the white pieces on the back don’t rip. I’ve got a short beard, so I figured this would never stick or would rip half my face off but it actually works great. The tape stays on all night, peels off clean, and doesn’t yank out my beard hair. Feels weird admitting it, but this little strip seriously upgraded my sleep.

I have to admit I was very skeptical and thought of this product as pretty funny. It does look weird but it actually works! In fact it has been retraining me to breath through my nose instead of mouth. Sometimes early in the morning I turn off the machine and sleep only with the tape. It holds and comes off easily. Just two weeks into use but will continue and order more.
